How Does Sculptra Work?

Sculptra is made with what are known as “microparticles” of a substance called poly-L-lactic acid. While most dermal fillers are injected into the uppermost layers of your skin, where they provide surface-level results, Sculptra is able to be injected a bit more deeply, giving it the ability to directly address the deeper dermal layers.

Once Sculptra has been injected into the treatment area, it goes to work restoring volume and giving the area a more supple and youthful appearance. In addition to restoring volume, it also kickstarts your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, which work to help you enjoy a restored look from the inside out.
