Ultherapy

The Non-invasive Lift

Ultherapy is the only non-invasive procedure FDA-cleared to lift skin on the neck, under the chin and on the eyebrow. Now also FDA-cleared to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage, Ultherapy can help you achieve a fresher look from your brow to your chest!

Focused Ultrasound. No Surgery.

Ultherapy harnesses the power of ultrasound to transform the brow, chin, neck and chest. Ultrasound, of course, has been used throughout the medical field for more than 50 years—and Ultherapy has been established as effective in clinical studies* and in over a million treatments worldwide.

Ultherapy relies on ultrasound therapy to deliver its collagen-boosting treatment. It also incorporates traditional ultrasound imaging, which allows practitioners to see the layers of tissue they are treating, ensuring the treatment energy is delivered to where it will be most beneficial.

Builds New Collagen

The Ultherapy® procedure stimulates collagen production by delivering focused ultrasound energy to the skin’s foundational layer typically addressed in cosmetic surgery—without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.

No Downtime. Natural Results.

Some patients see an initial effect right after their treatment, but the real results appear over 2−3 months* as new collagen works to lift and tighten skin on the neck, chin and brow as well as smooth skin on the chest. While Ultherapy won’t duplicate the results of a facelift, it’s a clinically proven non-invasive alternative for those not ready for surgery—and can even be an option for patients who wish to extend the effects of cosmetic surgery.

Works best with combining Fillers and Neuromodulators

IPL Photorejuvenation

IPLTM photorejuvenation can treat a wide variety of skin problems. It can be used to remove red spots or diffuse redness and can help with acne or rosacea. IPL TM treatments can also help to smooth uneven skin texture, close large pores, and eliminate wrinkles by stimulating collagen growth.

IPL treatments work very well to reduce and remove brown and red spots on the skin and create an overall better complexion. However, as this treatment has “minimal or no downtime”, it is necessary to do 3-5 treatments to achieve the very best results.

For that reason, we recommend completing a series of 5 treatments, and then getting a “touch up” treatment once a year in the winter to remove some of the signs of sun damage and aging that they may have accumulated over the past year.

Sometimes a specific brown spot that resolved with IPL treatment may come back months or years later. This does not mean the treatment did not work, but rather, the treatment worked and the spot returned due to aging and lifestyle factors, and it should respond well to another treatment.

IPL TREATMENTS work very well to reduce and remove brown and red spots on the skin and create an overall better complexion. However, as this treatment has “minimal or no downtime”, it is necessary to do 3-5 treatments to achieve the very best results.

Vascular Reduction:  Tired of covering that unwated broken cappilary or have a little more redess than rosacia, you may benefit from Vascular reduction laser. Vessels may look worse befor better and several treatments are recommended.

Skin Resurfacing

Fractional Ablative Laser creates a new level in skin resurfacing results. The Icon 2940 Laser treats fine lines, deep wrinkles, skin lesions, as well as surgical and acne scars with more power than non-ablative treatments and comparable results to CO2 laser treatments. The 2940 laser works by delivering micro-fractional Laser columns to the skin which results in brand new skin stimulating the bodies natural collagen building response. When compared to traditional carbon dioxide (CO2) laser resurfacing, this laser produced similar results with much less downtime and produced impressive changes in skin texture, removal of wrinkles, dark (sun) spots, and abnormal skin coloration.

With the fractional approach to ablative laser treatments you receive the benefits of the powerful skin resurfacing offered with CO2 lasers without removing all of your epidermis. Fractional lasers treat micro columns of skin, allowing your body to recover faster while still giving significant results with only 1 or 2 treatments*. In contrast other ablative procedures will require up to weeks of downtime!

In prep for your treatment:

Avoid Retin-A, Affirm, Differin, Tazorac, Benzoyl Peroxide, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy, Salicylic Acid, Astringents, Toners, Renova, and Prevage on treated area(s) for a minimum of 7 days after treatment and seven days before next treatment.

  • Avoid sun exposure in the area to be treated for at least 3 weeks prior to your next treatment
  • Avoid sun tanning, tanning beds, and tanning creams
  • Men: Shave beard hair in area to be treated
  • Wear sunscreen (SPF 30 or greater) recommended by your provider
Hair Removal

Benefits of Laser Hair Removal

Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas.

Benefits of laser hair removal include:

Precision. Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding SKIN undamaged.

Speed. Each PULSE of the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time. The laser can treat an area approximately the size of a quarter every second. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour.

Predictability. Most patients have permanent HAIR LOSS after an average of three to seven sessions.

How to Prepare for Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is more than just ”zapping” unwanted hair. It is a medical procedure that requires training to perform and carries potential risks. Before getting laser hair removal, you should thoroughly check the credentials of the doctor or technician performing the procedure.

If you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for six weeks before treatment. That’s because the laser targets the hairs’ roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking.

You should also avoid sun exposure for six weeks before and after treatment. Sun exposure makes laser hair removal less effective and makes complications after treatment more likely.

Tattoo Removal

How It Works

Lasers remove tattoos by breaking up the pigment colors with a high-intensity light beam. Black tattoo pigment absorbs all laser wavelengths, making it the easiest color to treat.

You should first schedule a consultation with a trained professional who can evaluate your tattoo and advise you on the process. The number of treatments you will need will depend on the age, size, and color(s) of your tattoo. The color of your SKIN, as well as how deep the tattoo pigment goes, will also affect the removal technique.

In general, this is what you should expect during a laser TATTOO REMOVAL session:

  1. You’ll be given a pair of protective EYE shields.
  2. The technician will test your skin’s reaction to the laser to determine the most effective energy for treatment.
  3. The technician uses the laser to pass pulses of intense light through the top layers of your skin that will be absorbed by the tattoo pigment only.

Smaller tattoos will require fewer pulses while larger ones will need more to remove them. In either case, to completely get rid of a tattoo, it will take several treatments. After each visit, your tattoo should become progressively lighter.

Laser TATTOO REMOVAL is uncomfortable, but most patients don’t need anesthesia. Depending on the location of your tattoo, you may want to apply a topical anesthesia cream beforehand.

Immediately following the treatment, use an ice pack to soothe the treated area. And apply an antibiotic cream or ointment and bandage to protect it. You should also be sure it’s covered with sunblock when you’re outside.

Vein Removal

Veins on the face, chest, and legs can be disliked by many and often times nobody knows there is an option to improve these concerns. We use the Nd:YAG Long Pulse laser to treat spider veins and stubborn capillaries. We use a 1064 nanometer wavelength which penetrates deeper than shorter wavelengths resulting in a painless and effective treatment.

What kind of veins can be treated?

Laser therapy using our 1064 nanometer wavelength can be used to collapse and remove unwanted spider veins, reticular and leg veins as well as hemangiomas that cannot be targeted as effectively with other lasers. It is most effective on small thin veins on the face and legs. Larger Varicose veins and veins that are symptomatic do not get as good results from the laser.

What is expected after treatment?

Redness, slight bruising, or a “cat-scratch” appearance in areas affected. Three (3) treatments is usually necessary for veins and some may require more sessions. Compression garments are advised to prevent veins from returning once they are removed. Unfortunately, compression garments will not get rid of present veins.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is used to immediately improve skin tone, texture and clarity. Removes dead skin cells to promote cell turnover and anti-aging. It is a safe and highly effective physical method of exfoliation that utilizes a scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair “peach fuzz.” This is safe for all skin types, and results in a smoother, brighter complexion with no downtime. Patients love how even their makeup lies on the skin post treatment and full absorption of skin care products.
