“The only thing constant in life is change”                                                                                   – François de La Rochefoucauld
Hello beautiful beings and Happy Holiday season!!  We all have so much to be grateful for and I am grateful for all of you.  Saving Face was merely a vision this time last year and I had no idea where to start. With a lot of prayer, grace, and hard work, not to forget a super supportive husband and a fabulous clientele, today Saving Face is my dream come true.  To know each of you has enriched my life beyond measure.
Sometimes change happens when you least expect it.  Recently the Texas Medical Board passed Rule 193.17 on Nonsurgical Cosmetic Procedures stated in summary:  Prior to authorizing a procedure a physician, or a mid-level practitioner acting under the delegation of a physician, must:  Take a patient’s history and perform an appropriate physical examination/assessment.  (A mid-level practitioner is defined as a physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse.  An advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) are registered nurses educated at Masters or post Masters level and in a specific role and patient population.)
How does this change affect Saving Face?  We grow.  It is my great privilege to introduce to you Kelly Shook PA.  She will be helping me during this transition phase and possibly more on a full-time basis in the future.  All clients will be given an assessment that will last on your chart for one year.  This change will result in no additional costs from you except a little patience as we adjust to this step in the process.
I have added these appointments to my online booking scheduler to make it easy for you to book. www.savingfaceaustin.com/blog/booking/  If you have any questions regarding this change please feel free to call me at anytime (512-765-6123).  It is my pleasure to continue to serve you with the highest standard of care inside a boutique personal experience.
